Trusting AI, a DOD funded national research project, aims to study the relationship between people and AI, with the ultimate goal of enhancing trust and safety of autonomous systems while developing an AI aware workforce.

I work with Dr. Bennett Bertenthal and Dr. Gregory Lewis at Indiana University. Here, I have been able to apply my studies in security and machine learning to design experiments addressing human trust and develop interpretable models of various risk taking paradigms. Much of our work is interdisciplinary and has included deepfakes, adversarial attacks on machine learning algorithms, neuroimaging, eyetracking, and non-contact physiology.
