Dimensionality Reduction

This began my first true research experience at Indiana University as part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities in Computing (UROC) program. Here, I worked with Khaled Rahman, a then PhD student under Ariful Azad.

The goal of this project was to quantify runtime memory consumption of various dimensionality reduction method and graph embedding methods. We additionally analyzed some clustering quality metrics to determine cluster separation including the Davies-Bouldin and Silhoutte scores.

The work was presented at the Undergraduate Research Presentation as a poster and our work was written into a paper. The draft was never published due to Khaled’s graduation and covid.
