Welcome to my website! My name is Alex Kiefer, and I am a researcher interested in studying the relationship between people and untrustworthy systems. Machine learning and AI has the opportunity to transform how we live our lives, but without sufficient consideration into making such systems reliable and interpretable, they will never reach their full potential. I am a former Associate Researcher from Indiana University. Currently, I am a PhD student at the Bredesen Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
